In an election year, events move at a fast pace. We’re glad to have you with us as we explore the people and the issues at stake during election 2012. It’s a great opportunity to engage students in a key moment in civic life.
OLE Election 2012 Brings the Election to Your Classroom
What makes a strong candidate for public office? How can you participate in elections? Help your students explore these questions with fun, engaging activities. Animated movies, interactivities, and in-depth classroom simulations bring the issues and events of our Presidential election to life.
As part of our OLE Election 2012 series, we’re pleased to announce the launch the Election 2012 activity pack.
Teach the Election
This high-impact, integrated content will bring the election to your classroom. Teach students how to be good citizens by encouraging them to think of themselves, articulate their views, and vote wisely.
Student Interaction
Prepare your students to participate in the political process with projects built around relevant topics and important issues. All of these lessons are fully supported with answer keys, assessment rubrics, and a glossary of election terms.
